The first recipient of this special award is Santiago Contreras-Tamez, the 2024 US Kids San Antonio Summer Season Champion. A few weeks ago, we had the pleasure of meeting Santiago as he was selling ice cream and popsicles during his vacation to raise funds for his golf tournaments. His commitment and perseverance are a testament to the qualities we cherish in the Alamo Spirit Award.
This award will be granted to one exceptional young golfer who demonstrates integrity, perseverance, and a positive attitude both on and off the course. The recipient will receive a fully paid season, sponsored by us, providing them with the opportunity to compete, learn, and grow throughout the year.
