World No. 1 Nelly Korda captured her seventh LPGA Tour title of the year at The ANNIKA in Florida, thanks to a remarkable back-nine surge. Korda overcame a slow start on Sunday to finish three strokes ahead of the competition, including 54-hole leader Charley Hull.
Hull entered the final round with a one-shot lead but struggled on the front nine, posting three bogeys and two birdies. Her one-over 71 left her tied for second at 11-under, alongside China’s Weiwei Zhang and South Korea’s Jin Hee Im.
Korda’s round began with three bogeys, but she rallied with five consecutive birdies from holes 11 to 15, carding a three-under 67 to finish at 14-under. Her strong finish secured her third victory at The ANNIKA in four years, having previously won in 2021 and 2022.
Hull, who was aiming for her second title of the month after winning the Aramco Team Series Riyadh, managed just one birdie on the back nine and bogeyed her penultimate hole.
With this win, Korda continues an impressive season, which included a streak of six victories in seven starts earlier in the year, capped by her Chevron Championship triumph. She now heads to the season-ending CME Group Tour Championship with momentum and confidence.
