With a new season comes an evolution in PGA TOUR Expert Picks. Fans of PGA TOUR betting can now see tips and picks for specific markets that the Golfbet team will focus on each week. The traditional format for lineups and rosters remains, with experts aiming to top the leaderboard in PGA TOUR Fantasy Golf.
How it Works
Each week, experts from PGATOUR.COM make their selections in PGA TOUR Fantasy Golf. Each lineup includes four starters and two bench players, who can be rotated after each round. Adding to the challenge, each golfer can be used only three times per each of the four segments.
Golfbet Insider Rob Bolton also provides a breakdown of the field at the 3M Open in his Power Rankings.

WILL GRAY (Lead, Fantasy & Betting)
- Winner: J.T. Poston (+3000) – Poston's ability to shoot low, as shown in his John Deere win, makes him a strong contender at TPC Twin Cities. Although his cut streak ended at Royal Troon, he was a runner-up here last year.
- Top 10: Maverick McNealy (+450) – With FedExCup standings in focus, McNealy, positioned at No. 67, needs a big week to secure his playoff spot.
- Longshot: Pierceson Coody (+10000) – Coody, who recently lost a playoff at the ISCO Championship, has significant potential and could be close to his first win.
- H2H: Billy Horschel (-120) over Tom Hoge – Horschel is performing well following his runner-up finish at The Open, while Hoge has struggled despite strong approach play. Horschel also gets a sentimental edge as they shared a pre-dawn flight from Glasgow.
BEN EVERILL (Senior Writer, Fantasy & Betting)
- Winner: Tony Finau (+1000) – Despite last week's disappointment, Finau has proven himself at TPC Twin Cities and is expected to perform well.
- Top 10: Cam Davis (+333) – Davis tends to perform well during the summer, and his recent win could kickstart a successful run.
- Longshot: Thriston Lawrence (+6600) – Despite heartache at The Open, Lawrence showed he belongs on the big stage and could push towards joining the TOUR more frequently next season.
- H2H: Taylor Pendrith (+100) over Clanton – Pendrith's experience and power give him the edge over the less experienced Clanton.
CHRIS BREECE (Senior Content Manager, Golfbet)
- Winner: Sahith Theegala (+2200) – Despite a bad week at The Open, Theegala's recent T4 at the Genesis Scottish Open suggests he has more to offer.
- Top 10: Keith Mitchell (+275) – Mitchell has three top 10 finishes this year and excels off the tee and in approach. If he can improve his putting, a top 10 finish is within reach.
- Longshot: Doug Ghim (+6600) – Ghim's strong approach game and two top-20 finishes at TPC Twin Cities in the past make him a solid longshot.
- H2H: Erik Van Rooyen (-120) over Patrick Rodgers – Van Rooyen's stats and tendency to perform well in birdie-fests give him the advantage over Rodgers.
MATT DELVECCHIO (Social Content Manager, Fantasy & Betting)
- Winner: Tom Hoge (+3000) – Hoge's strong history at TPC Twin Cities and recent T3 at the Travelers make him a favorite.
- Top 10: Jake Knapp (+550) – Bombers have success at the 3M Open, and Knapp's strong performances on comparable courses make him a good pick.
- Longshot: Michael Thorbjornsen (+6000) – Thorbjornsen, who recently finished T2 at the John Deere Classic, is poised for a breakthrough.
- H2H: Tom Hoge (-105) over Billy Horschel – Given Hoge's current form and Horschel's potential emotional fatigue, Hoge is the better pick.
