During the second round of the 2024 Butterfield Bermuda Championship, golfer Raul Pereda was disqualified for not being present at the resumption of play following a weather delay. The round, initially suspended due to darkness on Friday, November 15, resumed on Saturday, November 16. Pereda's absence at the restart led to his disqualification, as confirmed by a tournament official.

At the time of suspension, Pereda was at 2-over par, four strokes below the cutline of 2-under. He had recorded consecutive bogeys before play was halted and had two holes remaining in his round.

Several other players, including Scott Piercy, Paul Barjon, MJ Daffue, and Wilson Furr, withdrew from the tournament following the delay.

Throughout the season, Pereda participated in 22 PGA Tour events, making the cut in three: the Puerto Rico Open, Texas Children's Houston Open, and Black Desert Championship. His best performance was a tie for 42nd at the Mexico Open at Vidanta.
