Tyrrell Hatton is making waves at The Belfry as he leads the British Masters after 36 holes, reinforcing his position in the DP World Tour and eyeing a spot in the Ryder Cup next year in New York.

Hatton, who recently joined LIV Golf, is making just his second appearance on the DP World Tour this season. His last outing was at the Dubai Desert Classic in January. Despite the break, Hatton has shown remarkable form, topping the leaderboard at 10-under-par.

After an opening round of three-under 69 on Thursday, Hatton surged into the lead on Friday with an outstanding seven-under 65, featuring eight birdies and a single bogey. Starting from the 10th hole, Hatton's day began steadily with two pars before sinking a 15-foot birdie putt on the 12th.

He continued his momentum with another 15-foot birdie on the 14th after reaching the green on the par-three hole. Although he missed a birdie opportunity on the par-five 15th after an errant shot into a bunker, Hatton quickly rebounded with birdies on the 16th and 17th, finishing his front nine at four-under.

Hatton maintained his focus through the back nine, adding birdies on the third, fifth, and seventh holes, including another impressive 15-foot putt on the par-three seventh. His strong performance puts him in a commanding position as he aims to solidify his DP World Tour membership and keep his Ryder Cup hopes alive.
