Scottie Scheffler Ends Year in Style
Scottie Scheffler wrapped up a phenomenal 2024 season with a dominant win at the Hero World Challenge, shooting a brilliant nine-under-par 63 to claim victory by six shots. The back-to-back champion joined Tiger Woods and Viktor Hovland in achieving this feat at the prestigious event.
Although sidelined due to injury, Tiger Woods was present to award the trophy, adding a special touch to Scheffler’s triumph. "It’s surreal having Tiger hand you a trophy," said Scheffler. "We’re proud to support his foundation and love being part of this event."
Scheffler’s incredible year included nine wins, highlighted by titles at the Masters, Players Championship, and an Olympic gold medal. Despite comparisons to Woods, the world No. 1 remained humble: "I try to stay focused on the present. It’s been an amazing year, and I’m grateful for it all."
As he looks to 2025, Scheffler continues to honor Woods’ legacy while cementing his own place in golf history.
