LIV Golf Secures Long-Term Future in Adelaide with South Australia Partnership

 

Adelaide, South Australia (February 16, 2025) LIV Golf and the South Australian Government have confirmed that Adelaide will remain the exclusive Australian host of LIV Golf through 2031. The announcement was made before a packed crowd at the iconic par-3 12th Watering Hole, with South Australian Premier Peter Malinauskas, LIV Golf CEO Scott O’Neil, and golf legend Greg Norman delivering the news ahead of the final round of LIV Golf Adelaide.

 

A World-Class Golf Experience in Adelaide

 

As part of this long-term commitment, the South Australian Government and Adelaide City Council will oversee a major redevelopment of North Adelaide Golf Course, designed by Greg Norman. The project will transform the venue into one of the world’s premier public golf courses, further elevating LIV Golf Adelaide while enhancing public access and facilities.

 

Plans include:

A new 18-hole Championship Course

Expanded driving range & practice facilities

Improved public amenities for year-round use

Space for LIV Golf tournament infrastructure

 

LIV Golf Adelaide has already delivered $136 million to the South Australian economy, drawing thousands of visitors and earning recognition as the World’s Best Golf Event two years in a row.
