Scottie Scheffler’s 2023-24 PGA Tour season has been nothing short of extraordinary. With his recent win at the Memorial Tournament, Scheffler has surpassed the PGA Tour’s single-season earnings record, amassing over $24 million in official earnings this year alone.

Remarkably, Scheffler broke his own record, which he set last season with $21 million. Prior to that, he also held the record with $14 million. Before Scheffler’s impressive streak, Jordan Spieth held the earnings record from 2015-2022.

Some might attribute Scheffler’s success to the increased purse sizes in recent seasons. While this has certainly played a role, it doesn’t diminish the fact that Scheffler has continuously outperformed, breaking his own record in record time this year.

Scheffler has competed in 13 events this season, securing victories in five of them. His wins include prestigious tournaments such as the Arnold Palmer Invitational, The Players Championship, The Masters, and the RBC Heritage.

Notably, these are not just any tournaments but include one major and four Signature Events as designated by the PGA Tour.

As the season progresses, Scheffler shows no signs of slowing down. He is currently favored to win the upcoming U.S. Open at Pinehurst, with DraftKings listing him at +280, a remarkably low line for such a challenging event.

Scheffler’s phenomenal season is reminiscent of the dominance once displayed by Tiger Woods. His consistent performance and record-breaking achievements are cementing his place in golf history.
