Adela Cernousek, the 2024 NCAA individual champion from Texas A&M, has decided to remain an amateur and return for her senior year, foregoing the opportunity to turn professional and compete in the LPGA Q-Series.

Cernousek, a native of Antibes, France, secured her first collegiate victory at the NCAA Championship, finishing 12-under-par 276 at Omni La Costa in Carlsbad, California.

Her decision mirrors that of last year's second-stage medalist, Ingrid Lindblad, who also chose to complete her collegiate career before turning professional.

Cernousek's choice highlights the value she places on her education and collegiate experience, opting to further develop her skills before embarking on a professional golf career.
