The Total Golf Junior Tour began its season with an unforgettable event at the Hyatt Hill Country Club in San Antonio, Texas, where over 80 junior golfers gathered to compete in a team-based format that brought excitement and camaraderie to a new level. This opening event not only introduced young players to the thrill of team play but also made history with a remarkable achievement by one of its rising stars.

In a memorable moment that will be talked about for seasons to come, young golfer Max Embleton made history by scoring the first-ever Albatross in the Total Golf Junior Tour’s history. This impressive shot, achieved on Hole 6, a Par 5, using a 5-iron and a Merit golf ball, marked Embleton’s personal milestone as his first Albatross, adding an extra layer of excitement to the day and inspiring fellow competitors and fans alike.

Adding to the event's appeal, the tour offered more than six hours of live-streaming coverage, allowing friends, family, and fans to follow the action in real-time. The live stream brought the experience to viewers on the course, in the clubhouse, and even across the world, with supporters from countries as far away as India tuning in to watch the young athletes compete.

“Having live coverage was a wonderful addition,” said one parent.

Fans from as far away as India tuned in to watch and cheer on the young golfers, bringing a global audience into the heart of Texas for the event. The live-streaming feature captured key moments from the driving range warm-ups to the final putts, giving everyone a ringside view of the action and a unique way to stay connected with the young players.

The opening event showcased the Total Golf Junior Tour’s commitment to creating a memorable and inclusive experience for young golfers and their families. With historic moments, enthusiastic team competition, and live broadcasts uniting fans worldwide, this season is set to be one for the record books.

The tour crowned its first champions, with Michelle Lee emerging as the individual champion with an impressive score of -9, and the Texas Bobcats team clinching the title as team champions with a score of -10. Both Lee’s and the Bobcats’ outstanding performances highlighted the level of skill on display at the event.
